Oklahoma: your state's civics test answers

Four questions on the 2025 civics test depend on the state you live in. If you live in Oklahoma, these are the current answers. Officials verified against nga.org (governor) and senate.gov (senators).

Question 61: Who is the governor of your state now?

Kevin Stitt

Question 23: Who is one of your state's U.S. senators now?

Either name is a correct answer: James Lankford or Alan Armstrong (appointed, serving until January 2027). You only need to name one.

Alan Armstrong is an appointed interim senator serving until a successor is elected and sworn in (term ends January 2027) — still the correct test answer today. This seat was verified separately on .

Question 29: Name your U.S. representative.

There is no single answer for Oklahoma — your representative depends on your congressional district. Find yours by address with the representative lookup or at house.gov.

Question 62: What is the capital of your state?

Oklahoma City

Living in Washington, D.C. or a U.S. territory?

These four answers assume you live in one of the 50 states. If you live in Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, American Samoa or the Northern Mariana Islands, some of them are different — D.C. and the territories have no U.S. senators, for instance. USCIS prints the correct answer for each case in the official question list, and we quote it word for word on the question pages:

When these answers change

Governors and senators change with elections and appointments — but election winners are not correct test answers until they are sworn in, and this page updates at swearing-in, not on election night.
